Sony SRG-A40 Overview
SRG-A40 4K PTZ Camera with Built-In AI from Sony. Equipped with a 1/2.5″ Exmor R CMOS sensor and up to 40x Clear Image Zoom, this camera harnesses powerful AI-driven analytics to automatically frame and track your subject within the frame. Full Body, Waist, and Close-Up modes enable you to select the best option for your event with center, left, and right angles available for each mode.
A tally lamp that changes from red (On-Air) to green (Auto-Framing On) lets you easily keep track of the camera’s status mode. To capture frame-filling close-ups without reducing resolution, the SRG-A40 offers a 30x Clear Image Zoom in UHD 4K, a 40x CIZ in HD, and a maximum 80x CIZ in HD Tele Convert Mode. Additional pro functions like high-speed pan and tilt, 256 camera presets, autofocus, auto exposure, and white balance ensure you can capture just the look you want for your PTZ presentations.

- The SRG-A40 PTZ camera offers a 30x UHD 4K and 40x HD Clear Image Zoom and a maximum 80x HD CIZ in Tele Convert Mode.
- Clear Image Zoom technology increases the magnification without reducing resolution.

The camera has a choice of three shooting modes; Full body, Waist, and Close up. In each mode, you can adjust picture composition (size, up & down, and left & right) and the SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 can automatically track and keep the subject in the selected optimal position.
